I am a fictional character who has become a worldwide icon.

I was born on November 18, 1928 and will be 83 years old this year.

I didn’t start talking until I was one.

My existence was heavily influenced by the death of a rabbit named Oswald.

My look, fashion sense, and overall demeanor has changed over the years, but who’s hasn’t? I have several different outfits that I wear but I prefer simplicity; as long as I’ve got shorts and shoes on, I’m good to go.

My career started with black and white films but now I can be found in movies, stores, and homes all around the world.

My 50^th birthday was celebrated and televised with appearances by friends like Billy Graham, Willie Nelson, Jodie Foster, Goldie Hawn, and Burt Reynolds.

Loved by millions, children and adults adore me.       

The League of Nations once awarded me for being a universal symbol of good will.

I have take photographs with every president (except for Lyndon B. Johnson) since Truman was in office.

I am the first character to receive a star of fame in Hollywood.

I can at times be shy but I am always cheerful and caring.
