Business Cards: Out with the old, in with the new!

Due to technological advances or pure American laziness, business cards are being left to die in purses, wallets, briefcases and garbage cans everywhere.

Business cards used to be an important networking component for people in any line of work.

But in today’s digital world, those little pieces of personalized cardstock are no longer a necessity.

New applications have allowed people worldwide to have the ability to swap information from one phone to another.

It’s like simultaneously networking and unconsciously going green.

So who needs to carry around a stack of cards that were printed on little pieces of paper that will get thrown away or purchased for entirely more than they’re worth?

The idea of a digital business card is now a possibility.

Other than young folks resistant to change in the modern digital world, those not on board with this trend are most likely those of older generations who may be less tech-savvy.

But at social security's standings, they may not have a choice but to give up those pretty little cards.

After all, who wants to just be remembered by a card?

There isn’t much to argue with here. Getting rid of business cards saves money and space in your wallet, all the while wasting less paper product.
